ANWICU M&MThe annual ANWICU morbidity and mortality meeting is held each year. The meeting is an opportunity to discuss the most notable cases from the region and spread the lessons learned.
The meeting is also traditionally host to the ANWICU Trainee Prize, with £1,000 in prize money. |
The 2022 MeetingAfter a period of absence due to the challenges of the covid pandemic, the ANWICU M&M meetings are back. The next meeting will be held on the 21st September 2022 at the Royal Albert Edward Infirmary, Wigan. There will be provision of a free evening meal and prizes for the best M&M presentations as well as the Trainee Prize itself.
The meeting will start at 14:30 after the regional ICM teaching session. It will run until approximately 17:00, after which there will be food provided. See the flyer below for more information.

Trainee Prize
The focus of the Trainees Prize is one of original research, systematic review and good quality audit.
Priority shall be given to such projects over small audits, service improvement and case presentations.
The best projects will receive £1,000 in prize money.
